DO YOU PROVIDE THIS SERVICE?

While we specialize in recruitment services, we do not offer resume writing assistance. Our expertise lies in connecting organizations with top talent, rather than providing individual resume writing support.

I APPLIED FOR A POSITION. WHEN WILL I BE CONTACTED FOR AN INTERVIEW?

Thank you for your interest in one of our positions!  Each submitted application is carefully reviewed for qualifications, experience and desired skillsets.  Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to provide individual feedback.

 

Applicants that meet the qualifications expressed by the client, will be invited to participate in a pre-screening process with our Recruiters.  At the conclusion of the candidate selection process, all applicants receive an update on their application status. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this process.

HOW DOES THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS WORK?

The Public Health Network is a recruitment firm that works exclusively with organizations needing to hire public health or public health-adjacent professionals.

 

We work on behalf of the hiring organization (our client) to find sought-after talent.  Following the review of applications, we invite well-qualified applicants to participate in our pre-screening process.  Next, we submit a short list of well-qualified professionals to the hiring organization for consideration.  From there, the hiring organization selects candidates to interview, typically following their internal hiring process.  However, we may assist with salary and offer negotiation to ensure the placement is a win for the organization and the candidate.

WHAT IS THE "TALENT NETWORK"?

As a recruitment firm, we also maintain a "Talent Network" which includes the resume and profiles of previous applicants or individuals seeking new job opportunities.  

 

As we begin to recruit for our clients, we often visit our Talent Network to identify candidates or others who may have the qualifications, skillsets, and interest in a new opportunity.

I WAS SELECTED FOR A SCREENING, HOW SHOULD I PREPARE?

Congratulations on advancing in the application process!  Our pre-screening process will take place virtually and usually lasts 30 minutes.  During this time, an assigned Recruiter from our team will ask questions about your interests and experience in relation to the position you applied for. 

 

It is not a formal interview with the hiring company.  Rather, it is an opportunity to share more about your qualifications beyond what is listed in your resume or cover letter.
